Nimblight® is made in two magnetically and electrically couplable detached parts: the base and the real lamp. The base is permanently fixed on the headboard, behind the pillow, while laterally pivoting the lamp on it. In order it to spin coaxial with the reader´s head axe when he shifts his posture, the spin plane is not headboard parallel, but leaned. Spinning arm helding the focus up is extending enough to reach even the more extreme lateral book positions. The focus allows a fine 3D position tunning to tiny align and center the beam upon the page.
The system is designed to enable a lying down, posture shifting, reader to orient the lamp toward every new book position in a single continuous maneuvre, by using the same hand´s fingers the reader pass the pages with. Once the lamp is in its new position, it remains held up.
The focus of the Dual model contains four wide angle peripheral leds, plus an additional central, narrow one, which is shaded to avoid lateral light scattering.
For current use the five leds are switched on; for minimized, concentrated, light intensity, required to avoid disturbing the partner´s sleep, only the central one is connected by pushing the switch located in the reart part of the focus.
The Star model lodges only the central, narrow focused led, intended to avoid disturbing, though it is compatible with any general purpose lamp there migth be.
All leds are Yag-Neo, high bright, emitters, lasting almost forever, providing a sunny, warm light.
Every electric element is lodged in hand carved wooden bodies. The Base is connected to main by a safe adapter, ready for US or European wall plugs, included in the package.
